The app integrates seamlessly with the school’s biometric finger vein recognition system. Students pay for meals using their unique finger vein pattern — eliminating cash, cards and PINs, while ensuring a fast, secure and hygienic payment experience.
Oakgrove Integrated College is the first school in Northern Ireland to adopt this combined mobile app and finger vein identification technology, modernising its catering service and improving accessibility for families.
