Add Tip

Use Tip when a customer chooses to leave an additional amount during payment. Tips are separate from service charges.

Add a tip

  1. Open the sale or table and press Pay.
  2. Open the Functions menu.
  3. Choose Tip.
  4. Enter or choose the tip amount.
  5. Confirm the total with the customer before completing the tender.

Tip vs service charge: A tip is a customer-chosen extra amount during payment. A service charge is applied to the transaction using configured service charge rules.
