Starting Your Shift
Starting a shift means clocking in for attendance. This only applies when User Attendance has been enabled for your user account.
If User Attendance is enabled
At the start of your shift, press Clock In, then use your normal identification method:
- Enter your PIN
- Swipe or touch your RFID card
- Insert your finger into the biometric finger-vein reader
Once you are clocked in, you can start sales using the sign-on method configured for your user account. If User Buttons are enabled, your user button appears after clocking in.
If User Attendance is not enabled
You do not need to clock in before starting sales.
