How can I change my reservations opening and closing hours?

What are service time profiles?

Time profiles define the opening and closing times of a restaurant service. If you need to update reservation hours, first check which time profile each service uses.

If you run multiple services such as Lunch and Dinner, make sure you review and update every related time profile.

Editing the time profile

  1. Go to Settings > Tables > Services.
  2. Edit the required service and note the assigned time profile.
  3. Go back, then open Settings > Time Profiles.
  4. Edit the required time profile.
  5. Adjust the open and close times for each day, or set days to closed.

Adding exceptions

If the change is temporary, add an exception instead of changing the standard profile.

  1. Set the exception Date From and Time From.
  2. Set the Date To and Time To.
  3. Click Generate Slots.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Use Update Tills and Send Changes.

Refresh the widget browser after the change. Allow up to two minutes for updates to apply. Table Close Outs can also be used for temporary closures.

Examples

  • Lunch: Monday to Saturday 12pm to 4pm, Sunday 12.30pm to 3.30pm.
  • Dinner: Monday to Thursday 5pm to 9pm, Friday and Saturday 5pm to 10pm, Sunday 5pm to 9pm.

Do I need to change the service or the time profile?

The actual opening and closing hours are controlled by the time profile linked to the service.

Can I make a temporary change without editing the normal hours?

Yes. Use a time profile exception for temporary changes on specific dates.
