Gift Voucher Template Categories

Gift voucher template categories help organise your voucher templates into clear sections on the voucher site, such as standard vouchers, special offers, experiences, or spa treatments.

What template categories do

Each category gives you a heading and supporting text so voucher templates can be grouped in a clearer way for customers.

• Description: the category title shown to users.
• Description Detail: supporting text that explains the category.
• Hidden: controls whether the category is visible.

How to create a new category

1. Go to Gift Vouchers > Template Categories.
2. Click New.
3. Enter the Description for the category name.
4. Add the Description Detail to explain the types of vouchers inside that category.
5. Leave Hidden unticked if the category should appear on the live site.
6. Save the change.

How to edit a category

1. Open the Template Categories list.
2. Click into the category row you want to change.
3. Update the Description, Description Detail, or Hidden setting.
4. Save the changes.

Reordering categories

Use the up and down arrow controls on the right-hand side of the list to change the order that categories appear.

Deleting categories

Use the red delete button to remove a category that is no longer needed. Review whether any voucher templates still rely on that category before deleting it.
