Gift Voucher Templates

Gift voucher templates define the voucher products customers can buy online, including the name, value, expiry, category, image, and whether the template is visible online.

Template Overview

This section helps you review existing voucher options quickly.

• Description: the voucher name shown to customers.
• Value Description: the voucher amount or whether it is open value.
• Expiry (Months): how long the voucher remains valid.

Use the search box, filters, reorder arrows, and delete controls to manage the list.

How to create a new voucher template

1. Go to Gift Vouchers > Templates.
2. Click New.
3. Enter the Cust Ref for the template reference.
4. Enter the Description for the voucher title.
5. Add the Description Detail for the customer-facing explanation.
6. Select the correct Category.
7. Set the Expiry in months.
8. Choose whether the template should be Hidden Online.
9. If this should be an open amount voucher, tick Open Value.
10. If it is a fixed-value voucher, enter the Value.
11. Upload an Image if required.
12. Click Save.

Fields explained

• Cust Ref: internal reference for the voucher template.
• Description: main title shown on the voucher site.
• Description Detail: supporting sales text explaining the voucher.
• Category: the template category the voucher appears under.
• Image: the image shown with the voucher.
• Expiry: number of months before the voucher expires.
• Hidden Online: removes the template from the live online view without deleting it.
• Open Value: allows the customer to choose the amount.
• Value: fixed amount for the voucher if open value is not used.

Managing existing templates

• Use the up and down arrow buttons in the list to change display order.
• Use the delete button to remove a template no longer required.
• Use the deleted filter if you need to review removed templates.
