Vouchers

The Vouchers screen is the full voucher register. It shows all vouchers in the system, including online GiveaVoucher sales and vouchers issued or redeemed in person through POS. From here you can review voucher details, check balances, inspect redemption history, and see email delivery activity.

Voucher Overview

This section gives you a searchable record of every voucher token in the system.

  • Token: the voucher code or card token.
  • Name: the voucher holder or recipient name.
  • Created: when the voucher record was created.
  • Active: whether the voucher is still active and usable.

Use the date range, search box, and column filters to find a specific voucher quickly.

Opening a voucher

Click a voucher row to open the voucher record. The voucher summary panel shows:

  • Token
  • Name
  • Balance
  • Expiry

This gives you an instant view of whether the voucher is still live and how much value remains.

Details tab

The Details tab stores the main recipient information for the voucher.

  • Card Number
  • Name
  • Email
  • Phone
  • Expiry Date
  • Address
  • Comments

This is useful when checking who the voucher belongs to and what message or details were attached when it was created.

History tab

The History tab shows the balance movement on the voucher, including top-ups and redemptions.

  • Created: the date and time of the transaction.
  • Transaction Type: for example topup or paid.
  • Credit: value added to the voucher.
  • Debit: value used from the voucher.
  • Comments: reference explaining what happened.

The history includes both online and in-person activity. For example, you may see an initial topup from an online purchase and later paid entries from POS redemptions such as Transaction at Restaurant or Redeemed by store voucher app.

Use Adjust Balance from this tab if a manual correction is required.

Email tab

The Email tab tracks email activity for the voucher.

  • Email: the recipient email address.
  • Status: email delivery state.
  • Timestamp: when the email event occurred.

Where email tracking is available, this tab can show statuses such as Delivered and Read, helping you confirm whether the recipient received and opened the voucher email.

Audit tab

The Audit tab records changes made to the voucher record so you can review what was updated and when.

Common tasks

Task How to do it
Find an existing voucher Search by voucher token, recipient name, or filter by created date.
Check the remaining balance Open the voucher and review the balance in the summary panel.
See where the voucher was redeemed Open the History tab and review the debit entries and comments.
Check if a voucher email reached the customer Open the Email tab and review statuses such as Delivered or Read.
Correct a voucher balance Use Adjust Balance from the History tab.

FAQ

Does the Vouchers screen only show online vouchers?

No. It shows all vouchers in the system, including online GiveaVoucher vouchers and voucher activity processed in person on POS.

Can I see in-person redemptions from the POS?

Yes. The History tab includes POS and store app activity, with comments showing where the voucher was used.

What does the Email tab show?

It shows voucher email activity and can include statuses such as Delivered and Read when tracking data is available.

Can I adjust the balance on a voucher?

Yes. Open the voucher, go to the History tab, and use Adjust Balance if a manual correction is needed.
