How do I set a maximum number of covers per time slot?
What is yield management?
Yield management lets you limit the number of covers booked into each reservation time slot so you can protect service quality and manage kitchen and floor pressure.
Maximum covers per interval
- Go to Settings > Tables > Services.
- Edit the required service.
- Open the Rules section.
- Click + Add Rule.
- Select Enabled.
- Enter a description.
- Choose Max covers per Interval from the type dropdown.
- Enter Trigger Covers as the maximum number of covers allowed per interval.
- Select the relevant Time Profile.
- Click Save.
- Use Update Tills and Send Changes.
Slot interval times are set in the main service edit screen. These rules apply to the online widget only. POS users can still override them when entering bookings manually.
Refresh the widget browser after saving and allow up to two minutes for updates to apply.
