POS Connection Settings

Use Connection settings to configure how this POS communicates with the master terminal, local network, Tapa Cloud, and optional WAN relay services.

Master settings

• Is Master runs this POS as the master terminal for other POS clients.
• IP Address is the network address of the master device.
• Use Native Transport uses the newer communication method with a Tapa Go master. Do not use it with a legacy master, mixed environment, or when connecting to old TapaPOS.
• Enable Cloud Relay uses the WAN relay for remote POS clients while the master continues accepting local clients.
• Relay Server stores the relay hostname or full ws:// or wss:// endpoint used for relay testing or operation.

Network and diagnostics

• Refresh reloads detected network adapters.
• Open Network Settings opens the device network settings.
• Run Checks checks the local gateway, internet path, and Tapa Cloud connectivity.
