Understanding the TapaPOS dashboard KPIs

The dashboard gives a real-time snapshot of business performance. Each tile shows a KPI for the selected branch and period.

Access the dashboard

1. Log in to TapaPOS Back Office.
2. Choose Dashboard from the left-hand menu.

Sales performance KPIs

• Sales: Total sales revenue for the selected period.
• Tenders: Amount collected by payment method.
• Table Total: Revenue from table orders.
• Paid In: Amounts manually added to the till.
• Paid Out: Till expenses or withdrawals.
• VAT Total: Total VAT collected.
• Group Sales: Sales performance across business groups.

Product and stock analysis

• Products Value and Quantity: Value and quantity of products sold.
• Void Value and Void Quantity: Value and count of voided transactions.
• Refund Value and Refund Quantity: Value and count of refunds.
• Delivery Quantity and Deliveries Total: Number and revenue of deliveries.
• Collection Quantity and Collection Total: Number and revenue of collections.

Gift cards and discounts

• Gift Card Debit and Credit: Gift card usage and top-ups.
• Gift Cards Created: Number of new gift cards issued.
• Gift Card Redeem: Value redeemed.
• Gift Card Issue: Value sold.
• Gift Card Balance: Outstanding balance.
• Discounts: Total discount value applied.

Operational metrics

• Table Covers: Number of covers served.
• Labour Costs: Total labour costs.
• Labour Percentage: Labour as a percentage of revenue.
• Order Source: Source of orders such as online or in-store.
• Account Spend and Account Lodgements: Customer account activity.

Filter and customise the dashboard

• Each KPI tile has a filter for ranges such as Current Week, Current Month and Last Month.
• Use Settings in the top-right corner to customise the layout.
• Use the Dashboards dropdown to switch between dashboard views.
• Click New to create a custom dashboard.
• Click Add Module to add more KPIs.
